Privacy Policy
How information is handled, how choices work and how to reach us.
EngageMoe is a brand of The Web Corner, Inc. Engage is our email and SMS marketing product.
Draft revised October 29, 2026 · No effective date assigned
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
EngageMoe is a brand of The Web Corner, Inc. Engage is our email and SMS marketing product. This policy describes personal information handled for the EngageMoe website and Engage service. It distinguishes information about our visitors and account users from audience information customers instruct us to process.
For our own website, account management, billing and business communications, we generally determine the purposes of processing. For customer audiences and campaigns, the customer generally determines the purposes and we act on its authorized instructions as a service provider or processor. The customer’s privacy notice also matters. This policy does not replace a required data processing agreement.
2. Information and sources
Depending on the features you use, the service can receive:
- Account and contact details: names, business email addresses, phone numbers, company and brand information, roles, support correspondence and profile information.
- Billing records: billing contact details, invoices, plan information and transaction records. A configured payment provider may handle payment credentials under its own terms.
- Audience and campaign data: recipient identifiers, email addresses, phone numbers, profile fields, imported records, segment membership, consent evidence, opt-outs, message content, templates and sending instructions.
- Integration information: account identifiers, authorization records, API activity, webhook events and data permitted by the scopes you enable. A configured Shopify connection may provide authorized customer and consent information.
- Technical and activity records: IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, pages requested, security logs, provider message identifiers, delivery results, complaints and recorded message engagement.
- AI interaction data: prompts, supplied context and outputs when an AI feature or authorized external agent is used.
Sources include you, your organization’s administrators, customers importing or connecting data, recipient interactions, configured providers and technical operation of the website. Not every category is collected in every context.
3. Why information is used
We use information to operate accounts and brand access, process authorized campaigns and integrations, maintain recipient preferences, provide support and billing, diagnose errors, protect against abuse, and meet legal obligations. We may use appropriately de-identified or aggregated operational information to understand reliability and improve the service without identifying individuals.
We use our own business contact information to respond to requests and communicate about the service, subject to applicable marketing choices. A customer audience is not a list we may use to promote unrelated products. We do not treat acceptance of this privacy policy as consent to marketing texts.
4. Customer audiences and recipient choices
Customers are responsible for explaining their campaigns, establishing the appropriate lawful basis and obtaining required channel permission. We process audience information to carry out authorized service instructions and maintain the applicable restrictions.
If you receive a customer’s campaign, use the email unsubscribe link or the supported SMS opt-out method, such as replying STOP. You may also contact the identified sender to exercise your rights or make a valid revocation request. Email and SMS choices are handled separately unless your request or applicable rules require broader action.
We may retain the minimum identifiers and preference history necessary to honor an opt-out and prevent an accidental re-subscription. Deleting an active profile does not necessarily mean deleting the suppression needed to respect your choice. Contact us if you cannot identify the sender or a preference mechanism is not working.
5. Service providers and other disclosures
Information may be disclosed to providers performing necessary functions such as hosting, email delivery, SMS transmission, customer support, billing and security. Configured providers may include SendGrid for email and Twilio and telecommunications carriers for texts. What a provider receives depends on the configured feature: for example, a delivery provider needs destination and message information, and can return delivery or complaint events.
When you enable an external integration, such as Shopify, a webhook receiver or an AI assistant, information can move between Engage and that service within the authorized scope. External services you choose have their own privacy terms. Review them before connecting or submitting personal information.
We may disclose information to authorized staff and contractors who need it for their role, professional advisers, public authorities when legally required, or parties involved in a lawful corporate transaction subject to appropriate protections. We may also disclose information to investigate fraud, protect rights or safety, or enforce our agreements. A business transfer does not authorize ignoring existing privacy obligations.
6. Sale, advertising sharing and mobile opt-in data
Under this proposed service policy, we do not sell personal information or share customer audience information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use one customer’s audience to market another customer’s products.
Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in details and consent records are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Disclosure to providers needed to deliver messages, process requests, honor opt-outs or meet legal requirements is limited to those purposes.
These commitments must apply to the actual provider arrangements before this draft is adopted. Any future use for advertising that changes the applicable notices or choices must be addressed before that use begins.
7. Cookies, external resources and campaign measurement
The production service may use cookies or similar storage for login, security and preferences. Where optional analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, their purposes and any required choices must be disclosed at or before collection.
This private concept website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites and may require ChatGPT sign-in. OpenAI processes authentication and hosting information under its own terms and privacy notice. The site also loads Google Fonts; requests for those font resources can disclose technical information such as an IP address to Google. The draft idea pickers and calculators operate in your browser and do not send their input to an AI service.
Customer emails may contain measurement links or pixels, and configured providers may return open, click and delivery events. Such records can include identifiers, timestamps, IP and device information. Customers must disclose any tracking they enable and obtain consent where required. Privacy tools, automated scanners and browser settings can affect the measurements.
Browser controls can restrict cookies and external resources, although some functions may stop working. If legally applicable, recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, must be honored for relevant sale or advertising-sharing activity. This statement does not claim that an unimplemented consent manager or signal handler is currently operating.
8. AI tools and authorized agents
If you use an AI feature, the information needed for it may include the prompt, selected content and relevant context. A third-party assistant you connect can also receive information permitted by its access. Do not include secrets or unnecessary personal information in prompts or Markdown files.
The proposed policy does not authorize training public or third-party general-purpose AI models on customer audiences or campaign content. A built-in AI provider’s processing, retention and training settings must be reviewed and disclosed before that provider is enabled. Customer-connected assistants remain subject to their own terms; our policy cannot control a service you use independently.
An agent instruction file is documentation, not a credential or consent record. Connecting an agent does not change the need to respect existing opt-outs and access restrictions.
9. Retention, closure and deletion
We keep personal information for the time needed for its purpose, considering the active relationship, customer instructions, type and sensitivity of the information, support needs, legal obligations, disputes, fraud prevention and preference enforcement.
After closure or an appropriate deletion request, information no longer needed for a permitted purpose is deleted or de-identified through the applicable operational process. Backups and provider copies can follow their own deletion cycles and contractual requirements; they are not necessarily erased immediately when an active record is removed.
Minimum suppression records, consent evidence, invoices, security records and records needed for a legal claim may require longer retention. This draft does not establish a fixed deletion deadline. Account-specific retention and deletion commitments must be set in the applicable agreement and operating schedule before commercial adoption.
10. Security and international processing
We use administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information in proportion to the service and risk. No network or storage system can guarantee complete security. You should protect passwords and tokens, review user access and report suspected incidents promptly. We will provide notifications required by applicable law and our agreements.
Information can be processed in the United States and in other locations used by authorized providers. Where a cross-border transfer requires a specific safeguard or agreement, that protection must be in place before the affected processing. We do not claim certification under a privacy framework or global legal compliance merely by publishing this policy.
11. Privacy rights and how to ask
Depending on your location, applicable law and our role, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct it, request deletion, withdraw consent, object to or restrict processing, or receive a portable copy. Some laws also provide rights concerning sale, advertising sharing, targeted advertising, sensitive information or certain consequential automated decisions. Rights can be subject to exceptions.
Contact us by the toll-free number, postal address or contact page below. Tell us that your request concerns EngageMoe or Engage and describe what you need. You do not have to create an account to make a request. Do not send passwords or full identification documents through an ordinary message.
We may take appropriate steps to verify identity and an authorized agent’s authority for requests that require verification. We will not impose unnecessary verification on an opt-out request. If we process the information for a customer, we may direct the request to that customer and assist as required by law or contract.
We will respond within applicable legal deadlines, explain relevant limits or a denial, and provide an appeal route where required. You can request reconsideration through the same channels by identifying your request as a privacy appeal. You may also have a right to complain to the appropriate regulator. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights.
12. California notice
To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, the information categories, sources, purposes, recipients and retention criteria above describe the proposed service processing. California residents may have rights to know, access, correct or delete covered information, opt out of sale or cross-context advertising sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and receive nondiscriminatory treatment.
We propose not to sell or engage in advertising sharing of covered information and not to use sensitive personal information to infer personal characteristics. Before adoption, the disclosure must be checked against actual practices and any applicable lookback-period reporting. California requests and authorized-agent requests can be made through the contact channels below.
13. Children, changes and contact
The service is intended for business account users who are at least 18, not for children. Do not upload children’s personal information without the required authority and safeguards. If you believe a child has provided information to us without the required permission, contact us so we can investigate.
We will identify the effective date of the adopted policy and update the revision date when it changes. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel, and any additional notice or consent required by law will be provided before a new use begins.
